This superb, large pitcher dates from the late nineteenth-century. It's shape is unusual with a pouring beak and two handles. Most likely an agricultural vessel originally. This would look fantastic as a vase with leafy branches and wildflowers, or it is large enough to be used as an umbrella stand.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
