Large rectangular Louis Philippe mirror w/ gilt frame 47¾" x 40¼"

This stunning Louis Philippe mirror dates from the mid-nineteenth century. It has a simple rectangular frame beautifully finished with gold leaf. A chic and simple mirror that will integrate into classic interiors as well as contemporary. The large scale is what makes this particularly rare and attractive. The frame is lightly timeworn with a lovely patina.
