This modern lantern follows the classic tapered form long associated with traditional street lighting, a silhouette derived from earlier oil and gas street lamps that has continued to lend elegance to public fixtures to this day. It is suspended from a sturdy wall bracket with a forged scroll that adds a subtle decorative flourish, and the mounting plate is pierced for easy installation. Made for exterior use, the lantern does not feature glass panes. Years of exposure to wind, rain, and sun have given the metal a beautifully developed natural patina, with varied tones of oxidized copper and darker weathering.
