A cheery yellow ceramic preserving pot with a red-orange interior and loop handles. This piece comes from the Savoy region of France and dates to the late nineteenth century. The shape of the top indicates that it was once lidded. Today, this delightful piece would make a superb utensil crock on the kitchen counter or vase for flowers.   

Note photos to see where certain areas of the glaze have chipped off or worn from use.
