This hand painted porcelain tray has a graceful cloud-lobed outline with two small pierced leaf-form handles and a ruffled rim trimmed in gold. Made in Limoges in the late 19th century, it bears the CFH GDM mark for Charles Field Haviland, with decoration by Gérard, Dufraisseix & Morel, and reflects the flowing botanical taste of the era. The surface shades from soft white to blush pink at the border and is embellished with sprays of pink and blue-green blossoms enlivened by fine gilt tendrils. The glaze is clear and luminous, with gentle rubbing to the gilding and a few light marks from use, overall very good.
This piece brings a quiet note of color and easy elegance. Set it on a sideboard for fruit or tea cakes, place it on a dressing table to gather jewelry and perfume, or rest it on a coffee table as a decorative ground for candles or a small vase. Its organic silhouette softens straight-lined furniture and sits comfortably with both traditional and modern pieces, offering a refined accent that rewards daily use as much as display.

Condition and patina consistent with age.
