A late nineteenth-century portrait of a man wearing a hat, smoking a pipe. The signature reads Falk while the label on the frame is spelled G. Falke. The artist was most likely Gisela (Baronin) von Falke (b. 1871). Framed behind glass - oil and / or gouache. The sculptural frame is gilt stucco with pretty moldings.
