A superb, large Savoyard mountain pine antique vitrine storage piece with original glass panes. There are three upper window pane doors and three lower cabinet doors with storage shelves inside. The interior of the upper glass doors open to reveal four shelves fixed at varying heights noted below. The lower cabinets open to reveal a single fixed shelf dividing the center. A charming and delightful country piece to bring a touch of the French Alps to your interiors. This piece separates into two pieces for ease of mobility and shipping.
Notes for shelf heights:
The clearance for the first shelf is 12.5" or 32 cm. There is 11" or 28cm of shelf clearance on the second level, followed by 10" or 25cm clearance on the third level, and 10" or 25cm clearance for the fourth shelf. The visible clearance for the uppermost level is 6" or 15 cm. Note opening doors can be a bit tricky on the first try but gets better with practice. The bottom key works to open the doors on either end and the middle door must be opened by unlatching a piece on the inside which first requires the right-most door to be open. The middle upper window operates in a similar fashion as the rightmost door must be unlocked and opened first in order to open the middle door from the inside.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
