This elegant late 19th century wrought iron hall stand combines hat, coat, and umbrella storage in a single sculptural structure. The design is both practical and highly decorative, with finely worked ironwork and a light, open silhouette characteristic of the period.
The upper section is shaped like a crown, with a circular frame from which radiate eight hooks forming a hat rack, while a lower tier of hooks provides hanging space for coats. The central shaft is accentuated with twisted decorative elements, leading down to an umbrella holder and supported by three ornate, curved feet that give the piece both stability and a graceful stance.
Originally lacquered in black, the finish has softened over time and now shows a richly layered patina with areas of wear and oxidation. This aged surface lends the piece a nostalgic charm and enhances the character of the ironwork.
A refined and functional piece, ideal for an entrance hall, combining practicality with timeless, old-world elegance.
Condition and patina consistent with age.
