This peaceful landscape is of the Seine River in the countryside leading to a village and windmill and dates from the late nineteenth/early twentieth century. Watercolor/gouache on card, framed behind glass. The windmill was used for wheat. The frame is molded plaster with a gold finish. Signed Joseph Lesage.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
