Louis XV Trumeau mirror w/ sage green and gold frame 33¾" x 53½"

Dating from the nineteenth century, this is a stunning Louis XV-style trumeau. The top portion features a mythical landscape and seascape (oil on canvas) and is set within a highly decorative gilt frame. The mirror has been replaced, however, the gold and exquisite sage green is the original finish of the frame.

It is a truly exceptional piece. This trumeau would look outstanding in a dining room, formal living room, or bedroom.

Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases, this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.
