This exquisite Louis XVI-style chaise longue / bench seat dates from the 1900s. It has pretty fluted legs, cane seat and back (minor tear) and a ram's head elbow on the armrest - a detail that makes this particularly rare. The frame is beechwood. A superb choice for both modern and traditional interiors. Originally designed to be used against a wall in a bedroom or boudoir.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
