A superb Louis XVI style mirror from the nineteenth century. The carved timber frame has a little bird in the crest. Retains original beveled glass.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
Approx. 50¾" tall x 28" wide including frame x 1½"
Approx. 129cm tall x 71cm wide including frame x 4cm
Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.
