This elegant French side table, inspired by the Louis XVI bouillotte form, dates from the early 20th century and features a scalloped circular top veneered in a refined geometric parquetry pattern with a delicate inlaid border. The apron includes two functional drawers on opposite sides and the table stands on slender tapered legs ending in square brass sabots. The craftsmanship reflects neoclassical inspiration with its symmetry and restrained ornament, while the warm fruitwood tones and aged patina lend a graceful, timeless presence. Areas of minor veneer loss and subtle irregularities to the surface testify to its age and hand-crafted origin.
Perfect as a side or lamp table beside a sofa or armchair, or as a refined nightstand between beds, this piece blends effortlessly with both traditional and modern interiors. Its soft curves and elegant proportions introduce texture and warmth, making it equally suited to a living room, study, or bedroom where understated French charm is desired.
