Louis XVI style mirror w/ pale blue patina 45" x 24½"

Dating from the early-twentieth century, this superb mirror features a carved openwork pediment with Louis XVI motifs (wheat, wreathes, garlands) that sits atop a Restauration style rectangular frame. It has recently had a distressed pale blue patina applied. As there are little feet it can be sat on top of a console or commode or mantlepiece.

Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases, this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.
