This petit bench dates from the early twentieth century and is in the Louis XVI style - note the tapered legs, die joins and cane seat. This would be perfect at the end of a single bed, in a bathroom for clothes and dressing. The wood is beech, which has been beautifully carved.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
