An elegant suite of six French gilt moka spoons, each shaped like a slender twig tipped with a tiny coffee bean, captures a charming naturalistic whimsy. The lightly textured handles and pointed ovoid bowls echo leaf forms, while the polished gilding lends a warm, reflective glow. Stamped for Saint Médard, a long-established French silversmith known for its finely cast silver-plated and gilt flatware and its tradition of producing beautifully finished small table pieces, the set dates to the mid-20th century and remains in good condition with light surface wear. Their café-inspired design recalls Belle Époque and Art Nouveau tastes and would have traditionally accompanied espresso or digestifs in after-dinner service.
Ideal for an espresso station, they lend a delicate gleam to a bar cart or breakfast tray and pair effortlessly with porcelain demitasse cups. Displayed in a small crystal beaker beside a coffeepot, or used to serve petits pots de crème and sorbets, their sculptural twig handles bring sophisticated texture and a discreet note of whimsy to classic and contemporary settings alike.
