This charming zoomorphic bird pitcher dates from the 1960s and is evocative of Picasso's ceramics that he created in the Madoura atelier in Vallauris. It is stamped underneath with the name 'Mano' and anchor. There is a hole at the top of the tail for filling and the beak is the pouring spout. Hand painted terracotta.
