A lovely rather naïve portrait by an unknown Italian artist dating from the 1950s/60s. The painting was done on a thin canvas board with oil and pencil as the mediums. It is unframed but fixed to a natural wood square back. The figure features a pleasant, perhaps contemplative disposition characterized by the slight tilt in head and neutral facial expressions. As shown in the last photo, there is a complementing portrait of the same size by the same artist.
