Mid-century French sunburst mirror

A wonderful French sunburst mirror from the Var region in southern France. Designed with gold-colored metal spokes, this convex mirror traditionally would be displayed in the living room.

1950s. Sourced in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Suitable for both modern and traditional homes.

Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.
