Dating from the mid-twentieth century, a very tall and playful green blown-glass carafe/wine decanter from Chanteduc, the home of Patricia and Walter Wells in Provence. Note the inlaid bubbles which reference a skilled technique employed by artisan glass makers of Biot, France. This delightful piece is in excellent condition as Patricia has chosen to admire it as a decorative piece holding special memories rather than used regularly to decant wine.
