These French Mid-Century Neoclassical leather slipper chairs, attributed to designer Pierre Lottier, showcase a refined blend of elegance and craftsmanship.

Featuring a solid lacquered wood frame, the chairs are constructed in a graceful curule X form, a design inspired by classical antiquity, providing both structural integrity and a sense of timeless sophistication.

The seating is composed of wide, thick brown leather straps, meticulously interlaced and securely studded to the frame, creating a comfortable and visually appealing seating surface. The rich brown leather contrasts beautifully with the dark, lacquered wood, highlighting the chair’s bold design and attention to detail.

This model was designed by Pierre Lottier, a celebrated French designer who worked in Spain for high-end manufacturer Valenti. Lottier’s clientele included Hollywood star Ava Gardner.

In excellent condition, these slipper chairs are a superb example of mid-century modern design, combining neoclassical influence with the comfort and craftsmanship characteristic of Lottier's work, and would be perfect for adding a mid-century touch to any modern or eclectic interior.
