A lovely one-of-a-kind monotype by a living French artist who resides in the west of France. This artist travels to the coast of Brittany to collect seaweed to use in her botanic style art. The art is hand pressed on nice Italian Fabriano paper weighted at 285 grams. A monotype, often characterized by its painterly qualities, is a one-of-a-kind print created by applying paint or printing ink onto a flat metal or glass surface. Subsequently, the painted image is transferred to paper through either manual rubbing or the use of a printing press. This would be a unique addition to the walls of both modern or traditional interiors.
Framed behind glass.
