This extraordinary dancing sculpture is attributed to François Collette.  When you move the metal man he dances and walks on the top of the block - a wonderfully engineered piece that is very mesmerizing to observe in action - see video.

François Collette was a French postwar and contemporary sculptor who was born in 1936 and was well known for his mobile sculpture. His designs echo the work of the famous American maker of mobiles, Alexander Calder (1898-1976).
