Dating from the nineteenth century, this late Napoleon III Dagobert stool has a striking curule (cross frame) with a glossy black paint finish. The cushion is filled with horse hair and covered in the original hessian. It is recommended that this is re-upholstered as the hessian is rather prickly and itchy!
