A superb Napoleon III inkwell from the nineteenth-century. The metal is regule and the inkwells are glass with hinged lids. A winged horse or Valkyrie is up on its hind legs and a boy is holding onto the reins with a bag of arrows on his back. A lovely decorative piece for a home office or study.
Condition and patina consistent with age.
