A beautifully displayed bridal veil dating from the late nineteenth century. The oval Napoleon III globe has preserved this vale that is adorned with symbolic decoration. The dove is a symbol of peace, while each of the diamond-shaped mirrors represents the number of children bore by the couple - they are added to the veil as each child is born. The gold brass foliage includes vine leaves and flowers. Another similar piece also available separately.
