Dating from the end of the nineteenth century, a superb ecru -colored olive pot labelled 'Olives' in capitalized serif font. The inscription and accents are green as opposed to black, adding to the beauty of this special piece. Patricia Wells uses this pot to hold kitchen utensils placed beside Julia Child's oven. Patricia named the kitchen where she holds her cooking classes after her dear friend and renowned chef Julia Child. Julia's oven and many framed photographs of the friends together decorate the charming farmhouse kitchen.
