Olive-Green Punch Set circa 1960s by La Verrerie de Biot- 10¾"

This mid-20th-century French punch or sangria set by La Verrerie de Biot includes a large footed bowl and matching ladle, both mouth-blown in Biot’s signature verre bullé with countless tiny air bubbles suspended in the glass, in a very provençal olive green hue. The conical bowl rises elegantly on a baluster stem and circular foot, displaying a graceful and harmonious form. The ladle has a hooked handle, a practical feature that allows it to rest securely on the rim of the vessel. Signed Biot to the foot of the bowl and on the ladle, the set is excellent condition with only light surface wear. 

The subtly textured glass, warm tone, and hand-formed details capture the Provençal spirit of craftsmanship that made Biot glassware both functional and decorative. With its warm hue and artisanal texture, it brings a distinctly Mediterranean charm to entertaining, perfect for serving sangria, punch, or chilled lemonade at summer garden parties.
