A decorative Napoleon III giltwood mirror from the mid to late 19th century, with a richly carved rectangular frame. The design combines a bold reeded molding with braided inner borders and exuberant corner ornaments composed of scrolling foliage, shells, and floral motifs. These sculptural cartouches animate the otherwise structured frame, creating a lively interplay between rhythmic linear elements and flowing rococo decoration.
