Pair candlesticks w/ grapes & vine leaves - bronze & ormolu - 6"

An exquisite pair of late nineteenth century bronze candlesticks. Note the pretty openwork ormolu sleeve decorated with grapes and vine leaves, sitting on a patinated bronze stand in the shape of vine leaves and stalks. These would have originally been used for illuminating an office or bedroom.
