Pair of 18th century gilt boiserie elements 13¾"

A pair of eighteenth century salvaged boiserie elements. They were most likely originally displayed in a chapel and more recently were salvaged from an hotel. The front face has been gilded only as it was considered wasteful to decorate the back side of an object if it was not visible.
