A magnificent pair of timeworn gilded carved wooden capitals from the 1700s. European made, possibly of Italian origin. Note the lovely carved-and-gilded repeated decorative accents, flowers, and foliage details. These could be transformed into a beautiful wall console table by adding a marble or glass top to add a mix of modern and antique character to your space. 

Note photos for rustic condition. If transforming into a console, it may be recommended to sand the top edges to achieve an even, level surface for your wall table.
