A pair of wall-mounted lights from the charming guest room known as Le Pigeonnier at Chanteduc, Patricia and Walter Wells’s farmhouse and cooking school near Vaison-la-Romaine. The well-proportioned brass brackets are paired with classic conical shades in an off-white fabric, each bearing a cursive C embroidered in soft red thread.
Patricia explains that the shades were made years ago by a local artist using monogrammed napkins, with the C standing, of course, for Chanteduc. This personal detail gives the pair a character and provenance unique to the house.
Perfect as bedside reading lights, they could also bring warm, intimate illumination to a hallway or sitting room.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
Must be rewired and installed in accordance with local electrical requirements.
