Pair Of Charles X Maple Side Chairs - 35"

A graceful pair of Charles X side chairs in glowing maple, France, circa 1824–1830. The curved crest rails are delicately carved with rosette roundels and a restrained foliate frieze. Turned front legs are balanced by splayed saber back legs, lending both elegance and stability. The drop-in seats are upholstered in a soft, pale beige fabric and can be easily replaced thanks to their removable seat frames. The wood displays a gentle, time-earned patina that enhances the warmth of the maple. Structurally sound and functional, the chairs remain stable for use; however, their age and refined delicacy make them particularly well suited to decorative or occasional seating.
