Pair of Wall-Mounted Brass Valet Hooks - 15¾" wide

This elegant pair of brass wall-mounted valet hooks likely dates from around 1920, although they may be slightly later reproductions. Each combines a gently curved clothes hanger with a tall upper hat support and a smaller lower hook, all integrated into a compact wall fitting with flowing, almost calligraphic lines. The broad hanger ends are softly rounded to support a jacket or coat, while the upper stem terminates in a small domed rest for a hat. The brass has developed a warm, softly aged surface with light wear and subtle variation from use. 

Originally designed for an entrance hall, dressing room or bedroom, fittings of this kind offered several functions within a very small footprint. Used today, the pair would work beautifully in a hallway, guest room or dressing area, bringing a refined early 20th-century accent while remaining genuinely practical for jackets, hats, scarves or bags.
