A pair of early 20th century French bistro chairs with steam-bent wooden frames and gently curved backs with three tapered splats. The shaped wooden seats are press-molded with graceful floral Art Nouveau motifs that have darkened with age and years of use, creating a pleasing contrast with the lighter honey-toned frames. They remain sturdy and comfortable, showing honest wear with softened edges, small abrasions, and patina consistent with long café service, while the decorative seats retain their charming relief pattern.
Their warm patina and graphic seat pattern invite easy placement. Use them at a small marble-topped table in a kitchen nook, pulled to a farmhouse trestle for extra guests, or as accent chairs flanking a console. They also lend charm to a sunroom or covered terrace, pairing beautifully with linen, wicker, and aged zinc.

Condition and patina consistent with age.
