Pair of French leather club chairs - moustache back

This fine pair of tan leather club chairs date to the 1950’s. The back rests are known as ‘moustache backs’ due to their distinctive silhouette. Both chairs have had their cushions replaced; all of the other leather is original. The backs of the chairs feature a lovely studded detail.

All of our leather club chairs have their bases replaced by specialist artisans in France. Wear and rich patina is consistent with age and use.
