Marriage urns, Directoire cast-iron, French (two)

This fine pair of French marriage urns date to the late 18^th / early 19^th century and were made in Rouen, north of Paris. They are very heavy, being made from cast iron. Each has a heart and olive leaf motifs. They have a dark green finish. Patina and condition consistent with age and use.

Each measures approx. 18” diameter x 25½” high
