Rustic shutters, late-18th-century - pair

This fine pair of French rustic shutters are from a country farmhouse in the Auvergne region in Central France. Dating to the late 18^th century, they retain their original patina and hardware including latches and hooks which were originally used to hold them open. Being solid timber they are very heavy and would look fabulous wall mounted.
