This stunning pair of Louis XVI medallion back armchairs date from the eighteenth century. Note the ornate floral carvings to the apron, die joins, and scrolled arms. The chairs are sturdy and the frames retain the original paint finish (one chair is slightly darker than the other). The upholstery to the front is an enchanting brocade fabric, while the backs retain their original blue gingham check.
