A decorative pair of French wrought iron wall sconces dating from the mid-20th century, distinguished by their graceful scrollwork and openwork silhouette. The symmetrical design features flowing curves and heart-shaped motifs, lending the pieces a romantic quality.
Finished in a soft white paint, the sconces have acquired a gentle patina over time, with minor wear and traces of oxidation that highlight their age and authenticity. Each sconce features two electrified light fittings supported by small circular drip pans, preserving the appearance of traditional candle sconces. A pierced hole at the top allows for easy wall mounting.
With their airy silhouette and decorative scrollwork, these sconces bring warmth and character to a hallway, bedroom, living room, or covered terrace. Equally suited to French country, farmhouse, and Provençal interiors, they offer a charming way to introduce architectural interest to a wall.
