Pair of Petite Vintage Cast-Iron Medici Urn Planters - 9"

This pair of petite vintage cast-iron Medici urns has a classic flared form with molded rims, ribbed lower bodies and square bases. The iron has developed a beautifully weathered gray-brown patina with areas of rust and tonal variation that give the pair plenty of character. Both are pierced for drainage, making them practical for planting.

Their petite scale makes them easy to place almost anywhere. Filled with herbs, succulents or small seasonal flowers, they would look charming on a terrace table, kitchen windowsill or either side of a garden step. Left empty, they could be used as sculptural accents on a console, mantel or open shelf, where the weathered cast iron would bring texture and a subtle classical note to the room.
