A sculptural pair of tall Medici vases in flat strap iron, likely dating circa 1960's-1970's, finished in a cool pale gray paint with elegant open trelliswork. Each urn takes a classic campana form set on a ringed foot, animated by boldly scrolling side handles. Their generous proportions and assertive silhouettes give them a sense of architectural presence and decorative flair, echoing the grandeur of Renaissance garden urns long favored across Europe and later reinterpreted in wrought and sheet iron for terraces and conservatories. The surfaces show a gently timeworn character, with scattered paint losses and light oxidation spots. One urn rests with a slight tilt.
Place the pair to flank a console, entry table, or fireplace for striking symmetry, or use them as commanding sculptural accents on a veranda or in a garden room. Their open latticework is ideal for potted greenery, mossy topiary, or seasonal branches set within liners, and they read beautifully even when left unfilled. At once bold and refined, the restrained gray palette and airy construction lend classical authority and decorative impact to both traditional and contemporary interiors without visual heaviness.
Condition and patina consistent with age.
