Pair of Small Classical Male and Female Heads in Terracotta - 8"

This charming pair of vintage terracotta heads in the antique taste, probably dating from the mid-20th century, depicts a male and female figure inspired by classical sculpture. Each is modeled with softly idealized features and richly worked curls, while the warm natural terracotta gives the pair an appealing, earthy character.
