A rare pair of oak columns from the late eighteenth-century. They were salvaged from a fireplace from a chateau in the village of Pernes-les-Fontaines in Provence. Note the pretty grape motifs and foliage carvings.
The capitals will be removed for transportation and can be simply installed as they sit on a rod.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
