Pair of Vintage Wall-Mounted Brass Coat Hangers - 8¾"

This decorative pair of vintage wall-mounted brass coat hangers has a warm, softly aged surface and an elegant, almost calligraphic silhouette, with upward-curving arms, large upper hooks and smaller scrolling hooks below. The backplate is pierced for direct wall fixing, while the open construction gives the pair a light, graphic quality on the wall. The arms were cast separately and screwed together around the central wall plate. There is some slight movement between the assembled elements, consistent with their construction and age, but this affects neither their function nor their decorative appearance once mounted.
