An antique French confit pot with pale yellow glaze from the late-nineteenth to early-twentieth century. Originally used for storing food over winter. From southwest France. There is string tied around the handles and old marks from saw cutting above the handle - this doesn't effect the strength of the pot, it is in sturdy condition.
