The circular mirror plate is framed by a corona of individually hand-cut tole leaves, each delicately pressed with crisp veining and arranged around a twisted rope border and a scalloped inner surround. The original black-painted finish has developed a beautifully timeworn patina, enriched by scattered oxidation, while the mirror plate displays light surface scratches and minor staining consistent with age.
