Petite French Six Light Glass Chandelier with Rich Sparkling Drops 1950s - 26" x 25½"

A sparkling petite 1950s French glass chandelier with six lights and a light scrolling frame. The gilt metal structure forms graceful curved arms draped with abundant bead swags and a dense mix of faceted drops and long icicle prisms, creating a richly opulent decoration that still feels airy and delicate. Clear glass bobeches sit beneath the candle sleeves, and a hanging glass sphere finial completes the center. The many faceted drops catch and scatter the light so the chandelier shimmers like a jewel, even when unlit. The chandelier remains in good vintage condition with minor nicks to some drops consistent with age and would benefit from rewiring to modern standards. 

Nicely proportioned and visually delicate, it would bring a soft shimmer above a small dining table, in a an intimate entryway, or layered into a bedroom setting. Its crystalline drops and warm gilt accents catch the light beautifully, introducing depth, sparkle, and a quietly romantic glow.
