A petite mid-20th-century woven wicker cachepot with a gently flared, tapering silhouette. The body is tightly worked in a disciplined twill of willow and split reed, alternating soft celadon green with deeper charcoal-black strands for a subtle, graphic contrast. The rim is finished with a sculptural looped gallery that adds rhythm and lightness, while a wooden disc forms the base. Time has softened the surface with nuanced wear, slight variations in the weave, and gentle scuffing, creating an honest, well-earned patina.
Ideal as a cachepot for herbs, bulbs, or trailing plants, it brings grounded texture and understated character to kitchens, sunrooms, and sheltered terraces. A closely related companion piece is available, allowing for an easy, collected pairing.
Condition and patina consistent with age.
